I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hidden
these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to babes; yea,
Father, for such was thy gracious
will. |

Jesus, The Son of God
Who is Jesus?
This simple question has a simple answer.
Yet, man's theology over the last two millenium has successfully distorted the
answer to those who don't know Jesus through His Word. Yet, those who hear the
voice of Jesus clearly know the answer to this question, for Jesus himself
clearly answers it. Let us go to Jesus to learn the Truth of who he claims
himself to be...
Mark
14
[61] But he was silent and answered
nothing. Again the chief priest asked him and says to him: Are you the
Christ the son of the blessed [one] ?
[62] So Jesus said: I am, and you will see the son of man sitting at the
right [hand] of power and coming with the clouds of heaven.
[25] The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ); when he
comes, he will show us all things."
[26] Jesus said to her, I who speak to you am
he.
John 3
[16] For God thus agape-loved the world:
so that he gave his uniquely-begotten son, so
that everyone believing in him not perish but be having eternal
zoe-life.
[17] For God did not send
his son into the world that he judge the world, but that the world be saved
through him.
[18] The [one] believing in
him is not judged, the [one] not believing [in him] has already been judged,
because he has not believed in the name of the uniquely-begotten son of God.
John
5
[24] Truly truly I say to you that the [one] hearing my word and
believing the [one] having sent me has eternal zoe-life, and does not come into
judgment, but is moved out of death into
zoe-life.
[25] Truly truly I say to
you that [the] hour comes and now is when the dead will hear the cry of the son of God and those having heard will
zoe-live.
[26] For as the father has
zoe-life in himself, likewise also to the son
he has given zoe-life to be having in
himself.
[31] The Jews
again took up stones in order that they stone
him.
[32] Jesus answered
them, Many good works I showed you from my father; for what
sort of work among them do you stone
me?
[33]
The Jews answered him, Concerning [a] good work we do not stone you but
concerning [God] slander, and because you being [a] man make yourself
God.
[34]
Jesus answered them, Is it not written
in your law that
I said, You are gods?
[35] If he called them "gods", to whom the word of God came, and the scripture
cannot be loosed,
[36]Do you say
of him, whom the father made holy and sent into the world, that: You are
slandering [God], because I said: I am [the] son of
God?
John 11
[4] Now Jesus having heard said: This
[one] being sick is not to death but for the glory of God, in order that the
son of God be glorified through it.
