The Eucharist According to Jesus?

In continuation of the Sacrifice & Ransom topic from our October issue, we now examine the institution of the Eucharist as many claim it to be proof that Jesus was a Sacrifice.  Yet, we have learned through His Word that he was not a sacrifice, but a ransom. 


So we must ask the question: Did Jesus institute the memorial "sacrifice" of the Eucharist? What did Jesus mean by eating his flesh and drinking his blood? Is the eating of his flesh and drinking of his blood proof that Jesus was a Sacrifice? Or was he referring to something greater than the flesh?
