The False Teaching
From Billy Graham: At this glorious Easter season, what a time to give your life to Christ, to bend
your will to His; to let the resurrected Christ come to dwell in your heart and
give you supernatural power to meet the problems of the day. Give your life to
Christ.
First, you need to renounce your sins. Then, by faith receive
Him as your Savior. Will you do that today? If you will, the resurrected Christ
will come to live in your heart!
How do you receive Jesus into your heart?
1. Turn from your sin to God through Christ.
2. Place your trust in Jesus for eternal life.
3. Ask him to be your Lord and take control of your life.
4. Pray this prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need forgiveness from You.
I believe that You died on the cross and rose again from the dead in order that
I might receive eternal life. I turn from my sins and ask forgiveness from You.
Right now I trust You as my Savior and will follow You as my Lord. Thank You for
hearing my prayer and give me eternal life. In Jesus' Name, Amen

Exposing the Error
It's
true. The three step plan and the Sinner's Prayer makes one a
Christian, fit to join countless churches where joyful welcome and
continual affirmation leaves no doubt. One lustily sings "Since Jesus
Came Into My Heart" with the congregation and all rejoice
together! I did! So, it's true. This makes one a Christian, gets
one into a church, and causes one to believe that Jesus has come into
the heart -- but that is not true!
Doesn't it seem important to hear what Jesus says about this? He is the
one entering the heart and setting the conditions. He has not, in any
scripture, said that a stepwise Plan of Salvation plus a Sinners Prayer
opens your heart to him. He clearly states his terms for entering, and
you find them in the next column. If this is your case, you have been
deceived by churchmen, who are themselves deceived by one of the most
tragic of all deceptions.
No excuses, for the Lord warns all: But false Christs and false prophets will arise and
will make signs and wonders in order to be deceiving if possible, the chosen. But you be looking; I have foretold you everything. (Mk.13:22 FNT)

Declaring the Truth
If you agape-love me, you will keep my
commandments. And I will ask the father and he will give you another
advocate, in order that
he be with you to eternity - the spirit of truth,
whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not behold him nor know
[him]. You know him, because he dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans, I come to you. Yet [a] little [while] and the world no longer beholds me, but you
behold me, because I zoe-live and you will
zoe-live. In
that day you will know that I [am] in my father and you in me and I in you. The [one] having my commandments and keeping them,
that is the [one] agape-loving me; and the [one] agape-loving me will be
agape-loved by my father, and I will agape-love him and reveal myself to him.. . . If anyone
agape-loves me, he will keep my word, and my father will agape-love him, and we
will come to him, and we will make our dwelling-place with him. The
[one] not agape-loving me does not keep to my words. And the word that you hear
